Californian Dream
It was June when I first saw him. Tall, thin, bended gracefully over the balcony railing, he was still and silent, only his fingers tapping a slow rhythm on the banister's mahogany wood.
The strong Californian sun was reflecting on the back of his sequin studded shirt sending a beautiful shine to his dark curls and to the little skin of his cheek that I could see from where I was standing behind him.
It would have been appropriate for me to make my presence known by now but he looked so calm, so peaceful up there. A man always on the run, always a prey hunted by hundreds of reporters and cameras, always followed by hundreds or even thousa
Dream With Me
Close your eyes my dear, please
Let the lashes tickle your cheeks
Wherever you might be
Please close your eyes and dream with me
Don't leave me all alone in there
Don't let me wander
Don't fail to show up
Because my dreams with you are all I got
I love those moments that belong to only us
That place where there's no space or time
I love it when I close my eyes
And there you are
I love your skin under my touch
I love your stare into my eyes
I am addicted to your voice
I am in love my love
In love with you
In love with love
I am at home if you are there
I am at home when I dream, if I dare
So please my love

Dear Journal,
Today is the 31st of January, the last day of the first month of the New Year 2011 and I am sitting up in my bed with my laptop on my knees, well shrouded in my wool blanket and underneath it in the softest and snuggest robe. I drink hot cocoa milk and in between sips I chew lazy on some vanilla biscuits. The cat is sleeping beside me, her loud purring helping me not to fall asleep yet. I am warm and comfy, the room enveloped in a nice sort of tranquility and peace.
For a moment I take my eyes away from the screen and I take a peek outside. It is snowing, snowing with big and jittery flakes, well raked by the blizzard that st

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Just keep moving, press on I must
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Crumbles in piles, crumbles my trust
Colors of orange, red and gold
Photos turn green, black papers fold
I stood near it all, they called me bold
But in its presence, I felt so cold.
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Frozen in shock, like iron's rust
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
My goal was set, gain it or bust
Colors of black, grey and brown
Outside and around me, half the town
Soot in the air darkens my gown
In the ashes of home, I knelt down
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Your lovely words, a windy gust

I remember your eyes
That beheld us with love
Eyes with a beauty
That seemed from above
Despite blood and bruises
From kick and shove
I remember those eyes
Still beheld us with love
I remember your hands
Swift to welcome and heal
With a gentle touch
You knew how we'd feel
Swollen, sliced open
Pinned down by steel
I remember those hands
Still wanted to heal
I remember your feet
Which we followed in trust
That covered distances
Despite length or dust
Bloody and pierced
Still follow, we must
I embraced your feet
As you prayed for my trust
I remember your arms
So quick to embrace
In them was such strength
I felt safe in

Soon after the 25th of June 2009 Deepak Chopra wrote a few lines in the Wall Street Journal blog for his long time friend, Michael Jackson. The piece was titled "Michael Jackson and the God feeling" and of course, like any other pro-Michael material, this one also received a flood of bad and narrow-minded comments.
But in the sea of more than 80 comments of critique and judgement one jewel was to be found. A comment named "Reflections on Light and Darkness" signed with the nickname "filipek7" that shows such profound understanding of Michael's emotions and feelings and also of today's world and people that could only bring tears to my eyes.
I was never very fond of the chain/tag type of things going on in the social networks around the Internet but this one is a great chain to want to be part of. A wonderful and original idea showing once again how creative and smart dA members are.
So continuing the Art Chain (as I like to call it) I picked up from my good friend Vanja ~EvaPolly (https://www.deviantart.com/evapolly)...
The idea is to feature the first 18 people who will comment on this Journal.
I will take a good look at your gallery - especially if I don't know you yet! - and feature three of your works I found to be my favourite.
To keep this sharing thing going, please make a feature in your Journal as
So yeah, I feel kind of sociable and devious =P and I thought I could steal this from ~itz-Cindyrella (https://www.deviantart.com/itz-cindyrella) and give it a try.
Here is how the deal is...you get to ask me whatever question you want and I will put my Ipod on shuffle and answer you with whatever song comes in line. It's silly, I know, but it's also very funny and being stressed and depressed as I've lately been, I really need the fun.
With these being said...I'm now open for your questions.
P.S.: If you like this game, feel free to knock yourselves out with it...I don't mind you stealing it from me :giggle:
